The Link Between Crohn’s Disease And Acidity
What is Crohn’s Disease
Crohn’s Disease was named after Burrill Bernard Crohn, an American gastroenterologist. In 1932, Crohn and two colleagues first described a series of patients with inflammation of part of the small intestine, the area most commonly affected in Crohn’s disease.
According to information I gathered from Wikipedia (1), medical science describes Crohn’s disease (also known as regional enteritis) as a chronic, episodic, inflammatory (which is another name for “acidic”) condition of the gastrointestinal tract characterized by inflammation affecting the entire wall of the involved bowel and areas of inflammation with areas of normal lining in between. Crohn’s disease is a type of inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) and may sometimes affect any part of the gastrointestinal tract from mouth to anus; as a result, the symptoms of Crohn’s disease can vary between individuals.
According to Dr. Young’s New Biology, Crohn’s disease is nothing more than a massive yeast “outfection” of the digestive system and intestinal tract.
Symptoms And Complications
The main gastrointestinal symptoms are abdominal pain (especially when someone eats raw alkaline food which yeast does not agree with), diarrhea (which may be bloody), and weight loss (when the microvillus in the small intestine are damaged the body cannot absorb the resources it needs to build blood so the body begins to “waste”, just like on the Atkins Diet…see below).
Crohn’s disease can also cause complications outside of the gastrointestinal tract such as skin rashes (acid wastes leaving the body through the “third kidney”), arthritis (acid waste left in connective tissues by bacteria and yeast after they consume the bodies proteins, fats, and sugars), and inflammation of the eye…from our perspective, all forms of acid being expressed from a disorganiziung body just like when a banana ferments and expresses disorganization through its skin!
Rotting From Inside Out
When you are born you are 90% water and slightly alkaline. When you grow up you become 70-80% water and 20-30% matter. When you die you are less than 50% water and rigor mortis is a 100% acidic condition so the body can return back to from whence it came through the proliferation of bacteria, yeast, and mold which are the great “recyclers”…ashes to ashes, dust to dust. Aging and disease is therefore nothing more than dehydration and over-acidification leading to inflammation and disorganization. The body is literally “tricked” into “believing” that it is “dying” and “time to recycle”.
Our bodies are alkaline by design and acidic by function – meaning that while the body works to maintain a slightly alkaline pH, the body’s normal processes produce acidity (like lactic acid from muscle metabolism and carbon dioxide from respiratory metabolism) so it’s very important to eliminate these acids and the other acids building up from our lifestyle choices.
Poor Digestion And Elimination
Many people suffer from severe colon bowl stress and blockage after years of consuming animal proteins, starchy carbohydrates, processed junk food, and medication like antibiotics. Next to your Brain and Spinal Cord, the small intestine is one of the most important organs in your body because it directly determines the quality of your blood. The Small Intestine has 7200 square feet of surface area which is a 3rd of a football field, covered with these tiny little appendages called microvilli, that each contain blood vessels and lymphatic lacteals.
It is through these microvilli that colloids (tiny particles suspended in fluid) from the food we eat gets absorbed and transformed into erythroblasts, which you could say are like “stem cells”. These erythroblasts then go on to become red blood cells heading up the portal vein through the liver and eventually to the heart and lungs where they collect oxygen before being pumped throughout the body when some of them actually become tissue and body cells…you literally are what you eat!!
When proteins, carbohydrates, junk foods, and medications do not digest and are not eliminated, a sticky mucous forms on the intestinal lining causing bacteria and yeast to proliferate and leading to higher and higher levels of inflammation.
Crohn’s is basically like a servere “athletes foot” or “jock itch” of the digestive system and like those conditions causes itching, burning, uncomfortable symptoms but internally.
On The Rise From Diet And Lifestyle
Crohn’s disease affects between 400,000 and 600,000 people in North America…but prevalence estimates for Northern Europe have ranged from 27–48 per 100,000…that is because American’s have the WORST diet of any other “civilized/industrialized” nation.
Crohn’s disease often develops in the teenage years, though individuals in their 60s and 70s are also at increased risk. There is believed to be a genetic component to susceptibility with highest relative risk in siblings, affecting males and females equally…from our perspective, acidity always settles to the weakest parts of the body first which are determined by genetic predispositions, injury, and stress.
Genetic predispositions are like a bullet in a gun, with the bullet representing the predisposition and the trigger representing the lifestyle. The body is amazing and you might get lucky and live to be 100 playing Russian Roulette, but it is unlikely! Also you must consider that, if my parents and older siblings lived, ate, and thought in such a way that they were “out of balance” and experiencing problems like Crohn’s, Diabetes, excess weight, and so on, then I probably grew up learning the same behaviors which chalks part of our concern for predisposition up to learned or repeated lifestyles.
Autoimmune, I Don’t Think So
Although the cause of Crohn’s disease is not known by medical science, it is widely believed by them to be an autoimmune disease further illustrating how ignorant current science is to how the body works. They believe it is autoimmune because the condition occurs when the immune system contributes to damage of the gastrointestinal tract by causing inflammation. However, this is just a “smoking gun”, so the real question is “who pulled the trigger?”
Medical Science believes that the White Blood Cells are like an army of soldiers that hunts, attacks, and kills an enemy…however, when observed in the live blood they appear to behave more like garbage collectors who peacefully move around every cell in every organ and tissue cleaning up the trash left by our lifestyles and body processes. The idea that you can teach a garbage collector who the enemy is (through inoculation) and then send them to fight a war is ridiculous. If in fact they are garbage collectors, then anything you put in the body to “boost” the immune system is in fact more garbage triggering the body to send out more trash collectors…not a good thing!
The reason why White Blood Cells are appear to be contributing to the damage and inflammation in the intestinal tract is because they are their picking up disorganizing over-acidic cells and tissues created by our lifestyle choices. However, because yeast/fungus is a highly effective “recycler” the White Blood Cells often become inflamed themselves and are overtaken by the yeast. They then have to be picked up by other garbage collectors (White Blood Cells) which presents the illusion that the immune system is attacking itself because of the mis-perception that the role of the immune system is as an army rather than a waste management system.
Many cytokines are elevated in Crohn’s disease and are involved in mediating the inflammation…cytokines are a group of proteins and peptides that signal the immune system (White Blood Cells) to do its job…from our perspective, its like a garbage man seeing over flowing garbage cans and knowing they need to be picked up on their route. There is no known medical or surgical cure for Crohn’s disease and there are a number of medical treatments are utilized with the goal of putting and keeping the disease in remission which include steroid medications, immunomodulators, and newer biological medications, all of which may treat symptoms temporarily but add to the cause of imbalance which is inflammation from over-acidifcation!
You can’t effectively transform an imbalance without being clear about the cause.
Hope From Alkaline Nutritional Science
There have been many cases of people achieving success utilizing Dr. Young’s principles of New Biology and Alkaline Nutritional Science, even under medical supervision, by providing the body with resources focused on alkalizing the body (flooding it with energy/electrons) in order to neutralize acids and toxins (protons), create an internal environment that is not conducive of bacteria, yeast, and mold, and clear the filter organs while providing the raw materials the body needs to build healthy red blood cells and therefore organs, systems, and tissues.
The real solution to Crohn’s and similar imbalances is to alkalize and energize by replacing anything that would cause or increase the acidification of the blood and tissues and feed the growth of yeast/fungus (including sugar – even from fruit, starch, dairy products, animal proteins, and manufactured/processed foods and drinks) with a diet made up of at least 60-80% alkalizing vegetables and low sugar fruits, 20% unsaturated and polyunsaturated fats, and 10% mildly acidic or “better choice” foods (including nut milks like almond or coconut milk, pseudo-grains like buckwheat and quinoa, or fatty fish like salmon to name a few).
It can be a slow process for some people who are experiencing this particular imbalance because raw alkaline food can “agitate” symptoms initially as yeast is being neutralized and eliminated…it is sort of like pouring peroxide on an open wound. Therefore, it is recommended that you work with a coach and start slowly with diluted alkaline green vegetable juices and alkaline super food green drinks and work your way up to higher levels of commitment. Some discomfort from detoxing may be part of the process, but the journey to freedom is worth taking action.
