How To Make Alkaline Smoothies

Are you looking for a fast and easy way to start alkalizing?

According to Vegan, Iron Man Triathlete, Brendan Brazier, “energy must be gained through nourishment and not stimulation” or you risk putting your body under too much stress which leads to imbalanced hormones, poor sleep (no opportunity to repair and rejuvenate), weight gain, and muscle loss – no matter how little you eat or how much you exercise.

It is very important to consume, what he calls, “High Net Gain Foods” which are alkaline foods that are “nutrient dense, yet easy to digest”…meaning they make more “energy deposits” than “energy withdraws”.

Foods that are live, alkaline, and high in water, fiber, healthy fats, and plant proteins that are also organic, whole, vegetarian, vegan, and raw should make up the majority of your diet.

A great way to start doing this is by adding blended (pre-digested) alkaline smoothies to your daily routine. This is what I call a magic bullet strategy because smoothies are fast and easy to make and clean up and they usually produce fast and easy results for people without the need of special equipment, expensive supplements, and other complications…all you need to do it is a high speed blender or a magic bullet and some 16oz mason jars!

If making Alkaline Smoothies sounds intimidating, don’t worry…it’s MUCH easier than you think!

Let Nandi show you how easy and fun it can be…

Kitchen Essentials

Vita Mix Blender - absolutely the best blender available and truthfully, it’s the only way to get a consistently smooth, creamy and delicious almond milk (or smoothie). In addition to it’s immense versatility in processing both wet and dry ingredients, it also has the ability to warm ingredients through friction without overheating them, which means it’s ideal for raw live food. Start your 30-day no-risk in-home trial today and we’ll give you FREE Standard Ground Shipping!

Old Fashioned Ball Mason JarsThe best resource to be because they’re cheap, they come in convenient sizes with measurements in ounces and milliliters listed on each jar, they’re easy to load into a travel cooler on the go, and they have an ergonomic design making them easy to hold on to (a key feature for glass). They’re great for storing quantities of smoothies, juices, soups, fresh nut milks, and more. TIP: glass is always best because there is no chemical leaching which keeps contents fresher, longer, maximizing health benefits and requiring you to make juices, soups, etc. less often.
